1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing GitFinds (gitfinds.pages.dev) or interacting with our social publication (@gitfinds.si), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the service.
2. Open-Source Software Disclaimer
GitFinds curates and reviews public open-source software and tools created by independent third-party developers. All intellectual property, trademarks, and code repositories remain the property of their respective creators and are licensed under their declared licenses (such as MIT, Apache 2.0, GPL, BSD).
GitFinds provides setup instructions, AI prompts, and commentary "as is" without warranty of any kind. Users are responsible for evaluating software security, license terms, and cloud resource consumption before executing commands or deploying code in production environments.
3. Paid Promotions & Sponsored Features
- Transparent Proposals: When you submit a paid promotion request, we review your project and send a customized quote and script concept. Nothing is billed or charged until you explicitly approve the proposal and schedule.
- Editorial Integrity: Sponsored content will be clearly marked as sponsored (with visual badges or tags like #ad / #sponsored). We do not promote malicious software, closed-source scams, or tools that violate GitHub or Instagram Community Guidelines.
- Delivery & Retention: Sponsored video reels and carousel guides remain published permanently on our feed unless a takedown is requested by the sponsor.
4. DMCA & Content Removal
If you are a copyright holder or maintainer of an open-source repository and believe your project is indexed or depicted incorrectly, or you wish for your project to be excluded from our index, please email gitfinds.si@gmail.com with the repository link. We honor all legitimate maintainer requests within 24 hours.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed in accordance with international web and software standards. Any disputes shall be addressed via good-faith email communication with our primary team at gitfinds.si@gmail.com.
